Repeat Prescriptions

If the doctor allows you to have your medications on a repeat basis, your medication may be obtained in any of the following ways:

  • Order your repeat prescription on line via the link at the top of this page; please ask the receptionist for a registration letter and instructions
  • Visit the surgery
  • post your request together with a stamped addressed envelope.

NB  We no longer accept telephone requests for prescriptions

You should always allow at least 2 working days for your request to be processed.  If you require a paper prescription this may take up to 5 working days. A home delivery service is available from some chemists, please contact them for details.

The receptionist may at certain times ask you to make arrangements to see the doctor or nurse before another repeat prescription can be issued.  This is to review your medication and condition.

Please note the under 16’s will not be able to collect repeat prescriptions.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see the Clinical Pharmacist or Practice Nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
